I’m here to document both the grand views of Colorado's mountains and the subtle, unplanned memories that are formed on your wedding day.
My approach is laid-back and unobtrusive. I’m not going to over-direct or turn your day into a photoshoot. Instead, I'll stay present and let things unfold, giving you space to actually experience it while I document it as it naturally happens.
I’ll step in when it’s helpful- guiding you into good light, offering simple direction, or slowing things down for a moment- but never in a way that feels forced.
I know these mountains well. Whether it’s finding a quiet spot, chasing good light, or using the landscape you’re already in, I’m always thinking about how to bring in that expansive, rugged feel without missing the moments that matter most.
My editing stays natural and true to color, with a timeless feel that won’t go out of style and will reflect what your day actually looked like.
In the end, you'll get a gallery that feels genuine, grounded, and set in a place that means something to you.

I fell in love with traditional 35mm film photography as soon as I saw the rich colors, warmth, and grain that it provides. I have been shooting on my film cameras for years now, and am well versed in the intricacies that come along with it.

It forces me to slow down, observe, and meticulously compose before clicking the shutter (because I only have a few chances to get it right!)
While I do have a "filmic" editing approach in my digital work, there is no way to truly replicate the tones and textures of film without adding it onto your chosen package. I will shoot on multiple cameras throughout your day, capturing moments in both formats for a stunning mix of timeless and vintage in your final gallery.

Adding on rolls of film to your chosen package is a good idea if you love that classic look and want unique images that are different from the crisp digital ones that you’ll receive.
FAQs
I’m based in Durango, Colorado and offer free travel for weddings within 100 miles of here. That includes all the surrounding mountain towns like Silverton, Dolores, Ouray, and Telluride. I will also travel anywhere to capture your love with applicable travel fees, which will be a custom quote.
A million times yes- I am a queer-friendly vendor. No matter how you identify, and regardless of how you define your relationship, I’d love to be a part of your day. I firmly believe that all love deserves to be celebrated and captured.
A minimum of 50 photos per hour of coverage booked. If you book the 8 hour wedding package, you’ll be getting 400+ photos, and so on. This is the minimum amount, and I admittedly usually send WAY more. I will never gatekeep good photos just to stick to a number- you'll get them all!
I'll send you a gallery of sneak peek shots within 3 days of your wedding/elopement. 6 to 8 weeks later, you'll receive a link to your online gallery where you can download and share the rest of your images. I put a lot of love and care into perfecting each photo, which is why it'll take me a little bit of time to deliver your final gallery. I edit everything by hand, no AI or outsourcing, to make sure it's done right.
I take inspiration from the tones of 35mm film and have developed my own unique , Earthy editing approach over the years. My edits are true to color and organic, preserving the actual tones of your day without slapping on a trendy preset. Please see my gallery page or my Instagram for some examples! Once you reach out, I'll send full galleries so you can take a deep dive into my style, making sure we align!
The simple answer is no. You’re hiring me for my culling and editing process as much as you’re hiring me for my shooting. I always spend hours picking the very best photos to edit and include in your final gallery, so rest assured that I didn’t miss any. You will get all of the best ones edited in my style!
For weddings and elopements, the 30% deposit is non-refundable as this helps to protect my business due to turning away all other bookings for your date. I hope you can understand that the deposit is insurance for my business to stay afloat in the event of a cancellation. I am happy to discuss rescheduling to another date that I have available.
