I was raised in the San Juan Mountains and have been navigating them my whole life. If you’re needing guidance on locations and/or planning for your small wedding or adventure elopement, I can be a valuable resource. I am also a certified Wilderness First Responder, so I'm prepared in the case of emergency if anything were to happen on our adventures together.
I grew up a Colorado mountain girl through and through.
I’m a lover of all things vintage and nostalgic, which influences my photography style.
I shoot on 35mm film and edit my digital photos to be reminiscent of those vintage tones and textures while remaining timeless. My photos chase the feeling of being transported back in time, like looking through an old diary or listening to a song you used to love.

Handing over the job of documenting your wedding day to someone else is a big deal, so making sure that you find someone aligned with you on style, approach, and personality is SO important.
Here's my pitch: In my 7+ years of photography experience, I’ve grown to be extremely detail-oriented. I will always capture the little things, as well as the grander setting of where it’s all taking place. My head and camera will constantly be on a swivel, working in a documentary, fly-on-the-wall manner so that you can be fully present, knowing I'm getting allll the good stuff without intrusion.
I'm endlessly experimenting with the creative decisions that make a photograph impactful- light, interesting compositions, unique angles, symmetry, movement (to name a few). I always aim to strike a balance between purposeful, artfully curated images and quick in-the-moment shots for the ultimate variety and honesty in your gallery.
Above all, your photos will evoke the raw beauty and emotion of your day.

"When my partner Elliot and I were in the early stages of wedding planning, we knew there were a few elements we wanted to lock down very early-on to make sure we were able to work with the best-of-the-best within our budget, and one of those elements was our photographer. We looked at a few photographers and their work, met with them, and ultimately decided on working with Jordan, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision!! She is such a kind lovely human, and from our very first meeting it felt like we had connected in a way that really makes a difference on your wedding day. On our wedding day, Jordan embodied the phrase "calm cool and collected" and blended into our day so seamlessly. She did a wonderful job orchestrating large group shots, snapping flattering candids of ourselves and our guests, and gently pulling Elliot and I outside at juuust the right moment during sunset to snap a few photos that ended up being INSANELY perfect, before sending us back inside for dinner without missing a beat.

The gallery that Jordan provided after our wedding is everything we had hoped for and more. Jordan made sure to capture all of the details in a beautifully thoughtful way without having 30 of the same exact shot to sift through.
